The Company

Petit Nord is situated in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is owned and managed by Danish designer Jane Dencker Larsen. Petit Nord specialises in design and production of trend-setting clothes and accessories for infants and children aged from new-born up to sixteen years old.

The basis of Petit Nord’s children’s wear and accessories are pure natural materials, and the design has kept the expression of the natural materials.

Jane Dencker Larsen explains her design idea in the following way ”I love the simplicity of Scandinavian design. It is expressed in all our products in a combined raw and romantic style that suits children and characterizes Petit Nord’s unique designs.“

The designs are generally basic and balanced colours combined with the aim to achieve harmony and well-being. Everything is produced in high quality and small exclusive numbers.

At Petit Nord we put our efforts into making clothes that are differentiated to the mainstream children’s wear. Our products are often minimalistically designed.

We take great care in the production to secure a high satisfaction level in our customers. All our products are produced in the EU in compliance with EU regulations.

Also the environmental considerations are one of the basic values, and it is the aim of Petit Nord to create natural and healthy clothes, where also functionality and high quality go with all products.

Petit Nord first started designing in 1998 and has continuously developed sales of exclusive designs and is now represented in the Scandinavian, European, American and Japanese markets.
