Fur for children, is that possible?


It is actually possible and we have designed a collection for children in materials like tibet lamb and rabbit fur, and the children, they love it and so do the mothers. Therefore, we have selected some of our designs to be made in woman size as well.

The fur collection is a wide range of clothes and accessories in different types of fur materials.

 

In the fur collection you will find tibet lamb products as vests for children aged from 4-16 years. We make three different designs in vests, raw style with leather belt, romantic style with bow in front or the latest trend, the short bolero vest.

 

Vests are also available in rabbit fur either in raw vests in rabbit fur or with textile lining.

 

Collars, scarfs and bags also made in tibet lamb for girls and women.

 

Helmets in cow skin with rabbit fur lining and matching mittens with fur braids. And helmets made in pure rabbit fur.

 

We also have christmas socks made from rabbit fur in the collection with a decorative braid of tibet lamb.

 

The fur collection is mainly made in natural colours supported by some soft- and some metalised coloured furs.

 


 

guest designer at Petit Nord


We have invited the Danish fashion designer Henriette Steffensen from the fashion company ‘Henriette Steffensen Copenhagen’  to help design the tibet lamb collection. Henriette Steffensen contributes to Petit Nord’s own designs and collections with 3-4 new designs for each season.


Henriette Steffensen is a reknown designer in the Danish market, especially know for her designs in leather and fur for women. When we asked her if she would like to guest design for Petit Nord she did not hesitate for one minute.


Henriette Steffensen explains: ‘designing for children in these wonderful materials is fun and allows me to be creative in a different way. To try to think like a child again and go into the child’s world and thoughts gives me inspiration in the work.


To find materials which both are funny, in fashion and still functional is a challenge for me. I like the idea that Petit Nord’s collections goes against the mainstream clothes and my contribution with this tibet lamb collection is to design something different’.
